Adjacent to many of the
City's centralized sports and recreation facilities is the Port Alberni
campus of North Island College. The College hosts conferences and meetings
and is one of the few college campuses anywhere that features
state-of-the-art teleconferencing facilities. The college also has an
excellent complement of A/V equipment and computer labs. Meetings,
banquets, award ceremonies, and other special occasions can all be hosted
